Investor/Contracting authority: Lower Silesian Roads and Rail Service in Wroclaw

Project description: The subject of the development is the concept of the course of the Voivodeship Road Bielany-Łany-Długołęka – stage II, within the section from A4 Bielany Wrocławskie Junction (Karkonoska St.) to Voivodeship Road No. 395 (Żerniki Wroclawskie Roundabout) and to the city border (Buforowa St.).

The planned voivodeship road runs partly through the southern outskirts of Wroclaw and the neighbouring communities of Siechnice and Kobierzyce.

In the local spatial development planning, the Voivodeship Road is envisioned as a Z or G-class road (single or dual carriageway). In the development according to the Investor’s guidelines for determining the parameters of the projected road, the road class – G, the single carriageway section within the sections between the junctions and the dual carriageway section in the area of junction and KR5 traffic categories were adopted.

The aim and expected effect of the investment:

The scope of the elaboration includes the execution of a new road connection concept between the towns located on the outskirts of Wroclaw. Also, the combination of hitherto built road sections.

The planned Bielany-Łany Voivodeship Road – CONCEPTION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VOIVODESHIP ROAD FROM A4 BIELANY WROCŁAWSKIE JUNCTION (KARKONOSKA ST.) TO VOIVODESHIP ROAD NO. 395 (ŻERNIKI WROCŁAWSKIE ROUNDABOUT) AND TO WROCLAW BORDER

Długołęka, stage II, within the section from A4 Bielany Wrocławskie Junction (Karkonoska street) to Voivodeship Road 395 (Żerniki Wrocławskie Roundabout) and to the city border (Buforowa St.). It will allow the arrival time to the towns south of Wroclaw to be shortened. The projected road will provide communication between the towns without the necessity of going through Wroclaw and will contribute to the improvement of traffic safety within the sections in the area of its impact.
